Going Red means many new learning environments and school set ups. Many students have mixed feelings about going Red. Some do their school work in bed or at a desk in their rooms, while some even go out to eat or hang out with friends.
Many students do better outside of school at home because they have more break time to get work done with lots of resources. Being on the Red Plan gives more freedom to students with little stress. Many other students dislike the Red Plan because there are too many distractions at home and more to stress about with the internet, printers, and confusion with school work.
“I hate the Red Plan, it makes everything much harder, but at least I get to wake up an hour later than on a normal school day,” junior Mateo Roth said. “It stresses me out a lot more than going into school everyday.”
“Hybrid is so inconsistent and draining, I hate it, I like at home work so much better,” junior Isabella Olzak said.
“Going Red has made me more organized and has made me manage my time way better than before, I have sticky notes on my window above my desk to tell me what I have to do and when it’s due,” sophomore Jesse Driggs said.
“I like my Red schedule more because instead of waking up at 6:30 a.m. to go to school I get to wake up at 9,” junior Kouri Geha said. “I do class in bed most of the time because it’s comfier and I can watch movies during class.”
