The Orchestra headed out last week to show Sylvania’s middle schools a little bit of what the high school orchestra program looks like.
The musicians travelled to Arbor Hills and McCord to perform, while there alumni from the schools get to stand during one song to commemorate the school they attended.
“It’s super cool getting to go back and play at the school I use to go to,” sophomore Morgan Shepherd said.
Some other Orchestra students thought it was fun to show younger kids what high school Orchestra is really about.
“I really hope this assembly shows kids that Orchestra is cool in high school,” sophomore Joy Okeke said.
