If you’re bored with the same old music and are looking to change it up, look no further than a classroom at Northview. Chances are, one of your classmates is involved in local music and may even have an EP available for purchase on iTunes.
Senior Henry Gray debuted his first professionally recorded EP on iTunes, Amazon Play, Google Play, and CD Baby on November 26.
If digital is not your thing, you can also pick up a physical copy of the EP in CD format from Gray. The EP is called “Wasteland” by Henry Gray and the Dead Folk and features five songs all written and performed by Gray. Contributing musicians include NV alumni Mamie Silver and Mick Roby.
“It’s a fusion of indie-folk and psychedelic themes. I’ve been told it’s most similar to Pink Floyd, specifically Roger Waters,” Gray said.
