First annual fall day

For the first time ever, students in the Horticulture program, located at Southview, will be putting on a community fundraiser event called the First Annual Fall Day with FFA.

The national FFA organization directs students in the pathway of agriculture. This event will take place at Southview on October 30 from 12pm to 3pm. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children, and children under the age of three get in for free.

There will be many different activities including a car show, silent auction, inflatables, hay bale obstacle course, farm equipment, petting zoo, painting pumpkins, costume contest, floral arrangements, and prize giveaways.

There will also be refreshments such as donuts, cider, hot chocolate, and coffee. All of the events will be located between the softball and baseball fields behind SV.
